WHO CAN APPLY?

WOMA programme is open to graduates of the Physiotherapy and Medicine degree programmes, including qualified physiotherapists and medical doctors.

Under the Polish law, only physiotherapists and medical doctors are authorized to provide independent therapy, as well as to plan treatment and make diagnoses.

In order to ensure the highest standards of osteopathic education and patient safety, individuals with a medical background other than physiotherapy or medicine CANNOT be admitted to the WOMA programme.

TUITION FEE

Tuition fee for one academic year (2026/27 academic year) is:

17 900 PLN / 4200 EUR

Registration fee must be paid upon enrolment. This is a one-time, non-refundable fee of 500 PLN. Payment of the registration fee confirms your place on the list of admitted students.

Tuition fee must be paid in Polish zloty (PLN).

Are you a current or former student of Warsaw Medical Academy? You are entitled to the 20% discount on tuition fee for the first year of studies.

Tuition fee includes:

  • participation in the programme
  • educational materials
  • practical and theoretical examinations (first and resit attempts)
  • supervision by a thesis advisor during the preparation of the diploma thesis
  • diploma thesis defense
  • diploma (upon completion of all programme requirements, submission of the thesis and a successful defense)
  • catering and coffee breaks

Tuition fee can be paid:

  • In a single payment (at the beginning of the academic year)
  • Per semester (divided into 2 equal installments, payable at the beginning of each semester: September and February)
  • Monthly – (10 equal installments, payable by the 10th day of each month, from September to June)

The first invoice is issued after the agreement is signed during the first session weekend. For students who choose monthly payments, the first invoice covers the first two tuition installments.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

The application process is conducted online. You must register in the admissions system. After registering and logging in to your account, complete the required formalities by uploading scans of your B.Sc. or M.Sc. diploma and proof of payment of the application fee.

Your Rights and Guarantees

under the WOMA Agreement

  • Fair and transparent terms of education.
    You enter into an agreement for postgraduate education — not for a course or training programme. The terms and conditions of your education are clearly defined and fully transparent from the outset.
  • The agreement is concluded directly with a higher education institution.
    The agreement is concluded directly between you and the Warsaw Medical Academy of Applied Sciences (WAM), a higher education institution with more than 20 years of experience in medical education.
  • A guarantee of continuity throughout the 4-year programme.
    Unlike private training providers, the University cannot discontinue your education process. WAM is legally obliged to provide the programme through to its completion and to the issuance of the relevant diploma and certificate. The agreement may be terminated by you.
  • No unfair contractual provisions and full compliance with applicable law.
    The WOMA agreement contains no prohibited contractual provisions, including any obligation to continue paying tuition fees after the date of withdrawal. You are not required to pay for educational services that you no longer receive.
  • Clear and transparent tuition fee arrangements.
    The tuition fee includes:
    – payment for the postgraduate programme, with the option of payment in instalments,
    – two examination attempts for both theoretical and practical examinations (the first and resit examinations),
    – no additional fees unless a third examination attempt or a third thesis defence is required.
  • A complete set of documents upon completion of the programme.
    Upon successful completion of the programme, you receive a D.O. diploma and a postgraduate study certificate confirming four years of education.
    and the completion of 240 ECTS credits (8 semesters × 30 ECTS).
  • The right to a one-year, tuition-free leave of absence.
    WOMA provides students with the possibility of suspending their studies for one academic year, at no additional cost and without losing their student status.
  • Student status in accordance with the Law on Higher Education and Science.
    Postgraduate studies conducted by a higher education institution confer formal student status. Private training providers do not have the same legal status! By holding student status at WAM, you benefit from the legal framework, protection and credibility associated with the higher education system.
